I went to my first ever bead show today and I was so overwhelmed, by the amount of beads and how many beautiful colors. I would have loved to load them all up and take them home. Why doesn't money grow on trees?? The good news though is that this show is twice a year, and they have a bead society that meets once a month!!! How cool is that?? I am so going to have to check that out it is an hour drive but I think it might just be worth it.
Beautiful Freshwater pearls and they were 50% OFF!!!
Very unique beads that were hand painted from South Africa.
I can't wait to get in the studio and get to work with my new beads.
OMG, those peanuts (top photo) are hilarious!!Looks like a fun show. :-)
ReplyDeleteI have not been to a bead show yet, and I'm probably going to have to drive at least an hour to find one too, but I'm looking forward to it! Those photos are making me drool!
ReplyDeleteLucky girl... I'm so jealous, Tiffany! I have a 6 hour round trip just to get to a craft store LOL. Let's hear it for internet shopping! The beads in the third picture look just like Krobo recycled glass beads (from Ghana)... I love the look but I'm just starting to figure out how to work with them as the shapes are quite irregular.
ReplyDeleteI want to go to a bead show sooo bad! Its probably a good thing they don't really have them in my area....that looks entirely too tempting! My fingers are itching just looking at the photos. Kid in a candy store!
ReplyDeleteOoooh. . .where was this? How did I not hear about it!? I'm so jealous! ;)
ReplyDeleteAnyway I cannot wait to see what you create with all you new beads. Have fun!
